Youth Education Grant

The youth education grant provides scholarships for two high school students pursuing higher education in architecture, urban design, or historic preservation.

The specific scholarship recipients are chosen by committee each May. The students, who must have participated in the ACE program, provide letters of recommendation and a written an essay about their passion for the field.

Last year’s scholarship recipients were:

  • Hannah Saiger, who attended the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering and is currently enrolled in the architecture program at Brown University.

  • Evelyn Krutoy, who attended Brooklyn Technical High School and is currently enrolled in the architecture program at the City College of New York.

About the
ACE Mentor Program

ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York arranges teams, of professional mentors and high school students, that meet to explore the fields of architecture, construction, and engineering. The program culminates in a design project, mimicking professional requirements, collaborations, and schedules as much as possible.

Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners supports this arm of the program as well, serving as hosts and mentors to a team of students.

For the 4th consecutive year, the Beyer Blinder Belle Foundation has awarded its Youth Education Grant to the ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York.
